{"id":716,"date":"2021-01-29T00:44:44","date_gmt":"2021-01-29T00:44:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bullyrooks.com\/?p=716"},"modified":"2021-01-29T01:10:22","modified_gmt":"2021-01-29T01:10:22","slug":"adding-bittorrent-to-sonarr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bullyrooks.com\/index.php\/2021\/01\/29\/adding-bittorrent-to-sonarr\/","title":{"rendered":"Adding Bittorrent to Sonarr"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Lets go back to sonarr configuration for a minute and show how to add bittorrent indexer and download client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Configure an Indexer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Open up sonarr (<code>https:\/\/${your nas address}:31080<\/code>) and got to the <code>Settings\/Indexers<\/code> page.  Click on the big plus.  Choose <code>Torznab Custom<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now open up jackett (<code>https:\/\/${your nas address}:9117<\/code>).  Click Add Indexer.  Find one you like and hit the plus button<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"92\" height=\"62\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bullyrooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/image-82.png?resize=92%2C62&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-717\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It will show up in your Indexer list.  You can follow the directions under <code>Adding a Jackett indexer in Sonarr or Radarr<\/code>, but I&#8217;m going to go through them as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click <code>Copy Torznab Feed<\/code>.  Paste into the <code>URL <\/code>field in Sonarr.  Copy the<code> API Key<\/code> from Step 3 on Jackett.  Paste into <code>API Key<\/code> on Sonarr.  Now click the wrench on the Indexer in jackett.  Scroll through the categories to find the appropriate show categories you are interested and add them to the sonarr <code>Categories <\/code>field (comma delimited).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"442\" height=\"45\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bullyrooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/image-83.png?resize=442%2C45&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-718\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bullyrooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/image-83.png?w=442&amp;ssl=1 442w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bullyrooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/image-83.png?resize=300%2C31&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 442px) 100vw, 442px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Hit Save.  Do this for as many indexers as you like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Configuring Download Client<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Click on the settings tab for <code>Download Client<\/code>.  Click the big plus.  Choose <code>Transmission<\/code>.  <code>Name <\/code>is <code>Transmission<\/code>. <code>Host <\/code>is the IP to your NAS.  <code>Port <\/code>is your transmission port (<code>32080<\/code>).  <code>Category <\/code>is <code>tv<\/code>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"801\" height=\"832\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bullyrooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/image-88.png?resize=801%2C832&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-723\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bullyrooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/image-88.png?w=801&amp;ssl=1 801w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bullyrooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/image-88.png?resize=289%2C300&amp;ssl=1 289w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bullyrooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/image-88.png?resize=768%2C798&amp;ssl=1 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 801px) 100vw, 801px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Hit <code>Test <\/code>and <code>Save <\/code>when that succeeds.  Scroll down to <code>Remote Path Mappings<\/code>.  Click the plus.  Host is the NAS IP.  Remote Path is the location where bittorrent is going to put your completed files (the BT download location, ours is<code> \/complete<\/code>\/) and the local path is the location sonarr is looking for them (ours is<code> \/bt-downloads\/<\/code>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"798\" height=\"346\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bullyrooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/image-90.png?resize=798%2C346&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-725\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bullyrooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/image-90.png?w=798&amp;ssl=1 798w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bullyrooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/image-90.png?resize=300%2C130&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bullyrooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/image-90.png?resize=768%2C333&amp;ssl=1 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 798px) 100vw, 798px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Hit Save.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Testing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Locate another test file in sonarr.  Thsi time when you click manual search, locate a torrent to test with <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"129\" height=\"36\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/bullyrooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/image-87.png?resize=129%2C36&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-722\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Then click add to download queue.  Check the activity tab and the transmission client to see that it&#8217;s being queued correctly.
